Spinward patrol

The Spinward patrol was a New Republic Defense Force unit that was active during the New Republic Era. By around 9 ABY, Pirate King Gorian Shard of the Pirate Nation laid a pirate siege on Nevarro. At the early stages of the siege, Nevarro's High Magistrate Greef Karga threatened that Nevarro was under the protection of the New Republic, and as such, the Spinward patrol passed through frequently. Shard dismissed these threats, claiming that they could not even defend the Mid Rim Territories from the Pirate Nation.
