Glove

Gloves were articles of clothing worn over the hands. They were often used as protection, especially against weather, or to conceal fingerprints. Specialized types of gloves existed, such as magna-gloves, which could magnetically adhere to metals. Some work gloves had electrosensitive fingertips that permitted touch-screen access. The culture of the planet Kreeling considered the wearing of gloves in polite company to be incredibly rude. Karr Nuq Sin often wore gloves to prevent his psychometry power from activating when he did not want it to.
