Synthskin

Canon Legends version → Linked from 43 articles

Synthskin, also known as synthetic skin, or synth-skin, was a polymer-based artificial covering resembling flesh. Synthskin patches could be used by medical personnel to fuse cuts in organic beings.

Roman Herbane replaced a lost limb from the Separatist invasion of Fucallpa with a synthskin prosthesis, more grieving the death of his secretary, Li-Tan, than his limb. General Grievous's remaining vital organs were all protected by a synthskin. The Partisan Maia inherited a pair of synthskin gloves after winning them from fellow fighter Codo in a bet.

Nu-skin was similar to synth-skin.
