Zero-G mini-speeder go-cart steeplechase

Zero-G mini-speeder go-cart steeplechase was a sporting competition. During the Galactic Civil War, the crews of an Alliance corvette and an Imperial Star Destroyer were captured by a group of extra-galactic aliens. They had observed the combat between the two starships and misinterpreted it as a sports contest. However, the alien species prized fairness in all competitions and intervened due to the uneven nature of the contest. Taking the crews aboard their fathership, the aliens graciously allowed them to continue their contest for their own entertainment while acting as judges. Zero-G mini-speeder go-cart steeplechase was one of a number of competitions that the aliens proposed for the crews to compete in, along with free-style zero-G swimming, acrobatic pyramids, marksmanship, and loudest-howling.
