The Sith Lord Darth Azamin maintained a stronghold during the Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Around 3653 BBY, Azamin's rival Darth Decimus arranged for a Jedi strike team to infiltrate the stronghold and successfully assassinate Azamin, although the Jedi perished in their escape when their starship exploded.
