Tak-Beam complex

The Tak-Beam complex served as a base on the planet Durkteel for the Alliance to Restore the Republic in the final stages of the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. Around this time, archivist and aide to Chancellor Mon Mothma, Hendri Underholt undertook a mission to Durkteel to safeguard The Rebel Files. Later, on the same day as the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, the complex was bombarded by three Star Destroyers and destroyed, killing Underholt. The Rebel Files were uncovered decades later during the excavation of a new comm tower uncovered the site. The Rebel Files eventually found their way to General Leia Organa of the Resistance, a former member and leader of the Alliance.
