Boz Pity

Boz Pity was a planet located in the Boz Pity system of the galaxy's Mid Rim. During the High Republic Era, it was considered a key member of the Galactic Republic, and received a sky-island with a representation of its environment at the Valo Republic Fair.

By the time of the Clone Wars, Boz Pity was largely uninhabited, and the Confederacy of Independent Systems established a presence on it during the conflict, enabling them to frequently strike at nearby Galactic Republic targets. The planet became one of the Confederacy's factory worlds known as the Foundry of the Confederacy together with Metalorn, Saleucami, and Felucia. The Techno Union operated on Boz Pity in association with the factories. In response to the raids, Boz Pity became subject to a siege by Republic forces of the 12th Sector Army as part of the Outer Rim Sieges. The Siege of Boz Pity became one of the most intense battles of the Clone War and drew in major military members from both sides. Among them were the Separatist ST-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid Linwodo who had also defended Metalorn, and Jedi General Quinlan Vos who moved his troops to support Boz Pity after the conclusion of the Siege of Saleucami. Shortly after, both Linwodo and Vos were reassigned to the Battle of Kashyyyk which fought for the position at the doorstep of the Foundry. Boz Pity was mentioned as a notable factory world by Muzzle in the survival compendium "Neyo's Almanac of Clankers."

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Ghost, a light freighter used by the Spectres, used a false transponder code that stated the freighter had free passage rights between Lothal and Boz Pity. A Battle of Boz Pity, in which Gial Ackbar was injured, was fought during the Imperial Era. At some point, Nath Tensent, pilot in the Rebel Alliance and later the New Republic, was involved in a mission on Boz Pity and watched some of his friends die.
