The sun of the Datar system in the Inner Rim and Northern Dependencies regions was orbited by the planet Datar. In the early centuries of the Galactic Republic, the Duros hyperspace trailblazer Gan Basso died when he accidentally crashed his vessel into the star after a hasty hyperspace jump. The Ghostlings, the natives of Datar, sung about their planet's sun in at least one lullaby.
