Khepi (planet)

Khepi, located in Wild Space, was a planet and the homeworld of the Khepi who existed since the formation of formation of the Galactic Republic and remained independent of it through out most of its existence. During the High Republic Era, the Khepi calculated that an asteroid would impact their planet ten years in the future resulting in the destruction of the planet. Rather than evacuate to a different planet, the Khepi instead constructed a Great Tomb inside a different asteroid located in the nearby Sayma Nebula. The roxodium alloys used in its construction as well as sentry droids set with guarding the tomb would ensure that the tomb would remain for thousands of years until the nebula ultimately collapsed into a star.
