Khepi campaign

The Khepi campaign was an occupation and plundering effort of the Khepi Tomb sustained by the Rokana Raiders by 3 ABY, later progressed under the further involvement of Kay Vess' crew. Near the High Republic Era, a species known as the Khepi constructed a burial chamber hidden inside an asteroid amid the Sayma Nebula, in response to the foretold destruction of their world. Eventually, pirates around the galaxy would acknowledge a rumor suggesting an immense amount of treasure having been left behind inside the Tomb. Under the guidance of the Imperial Doctor Jessik, a pirate group known as the Rokana Raiders would first be able to reach the Tomb, establishing a starbase inside the asteroid and attempt to acquire the reputed treasure within.
Despite the Raiders' dedicated effort to unlock the burial chamber and scattered crates in the Tomb, they are ultimately unable to open the elements through force. The Rokana Raiders' leader, Stinger Tash, discovered how the security of the Tomb would be controlled by the Khepi item of the Architect's Scepter, consisting of two parts of a hilt and a shank. While the Raiders own the shank, the hilt would instead be kept by the Weequay pirate Honda Ohnaka, the Weequay who later would attempt to pursuit the treasure himself and be captured by the Rokana Raiders. However, Ohnaka has also previously delivered a message to his acquaintance, Jet Kordo, with the message received instead by Kay Vess' crew, and intriguing them to search for the treasure.
While the Rokana Raiders captured Kay Vess' crew during their initial mission to the system, Vess' crew were able to escape from the Tomb with Ohnaka, with Vess agreeing to create an alliance with Ohnaka and hijack the campaign in favor of themselves. Ohnaka and Vess would proceed to operate near the Kijimi system, Khepi system, and Tatoo system to acquire a disguise, the R93 refractor Cutlass, and the hilt to ultimately infiltrate the base. After returning to the base with the disguise, Ohnaka and Vess would attempt to uncover Stinger's plan and win the favor of the crew through a vote, but ultimately trigger a catastrophe that would cause the forces to evacuate from the base and abandon the campaign. After the death of Tash and the escape of the Rokana Raiders through the Cutlass, the droid crewmember ND-5 would arrive with the Trailblazer and allow Vess' crew to be able to escape from the Tomb.
