Ookbat
Canon Legends version → Linked from 5 articles
Ookbat was an astronomical object located in the Ookbat system within the Kastolar sector of the Mid Rim and the Slice. It was situated in grid square Q-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid. The Ootmian Pabol hyperspace route linked Ookbat to the Randon and Ubrikkia systems. At one point, it was aligned with the Galactic Republic.
By 228 BBY, during the High Republic Era, Ookbat was under the control of the Hutt Clan. That year, the Republic Defense Coalition recaptured Ookbat from the Hutt Clan, and days later, Republic Commander Velko Jahen informed Jedi Master Elzar Mann of the development.
