Yir Tangee
Canon Legends version → Linked from 9 articles
Yir Tangee was a planet in the Yir Tangee system of the Colonies and the Interior. It was situated in grid square L-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid. The planet was the homeworld of two humans, the smuggler Astrid Fenris and Ace Squadron pilot Freya Fenris. By 34 ABY, the Battle of Yir Tangee occurred between First Order and New Republic forces, during which the Banshee of Bestine—a First Order pilot—destroyed two New Republic squadrons. Later, First Order troopers aboard the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer Decimator discussed incorrect rumors of the Banshee of Bestine's victory over New Republic forces at Yir Tangee, with the pilot correcting their misinformation.
