Sheep

Canon Legends version → Linked from 4 articles

Sheep were a herd species. One variety was the cochukka, which were kept by shepherds on the planet Pkori. In 231 BBY, Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro referred to the followers of Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh as her sheep. In 22 BBY, while on a mission to the planet Thule, the Jedi Knight Iskat Akaris noted that the local slugs feeding on the stone of a canyon wall looked like a herd of sheep grazing on a vertical hill.

Sometime between 19 BBY and 14 BBY, Akaris, now a member of the Jedi-hunting Inquisitorius, visited her homeworld Pkori. While there, she encountered several shepherds herding cochukka. She also noticed the fellow Pkorians she saw there using cochukka wool to spin yarn, realizing that the scarf she had once found her mother's lightsaber wrapped in was the same color as the cochukka sheep. Sometime after this, Akaris hunted Jedi on the planet Firrhana in competition with fellow Inquisitor Tualon Yaluna and determined that she could undercut him and claim both their targets if the Jedi were clustered together like brainless sheep. She was ultimately correct: three Jedi were held in a nearby fortress and she succeeded in gaining access and killing them all.

Around 1 ABY, when Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra referred to the Defel Glahst Ombra as a sneerwolf, the reprogrammed droideka Dek-Nil responded that Ombra was not a wolf but wearing a sheep, undoubtedly a creep in the guise of a Defel. Due to Dek-Nil's odd mode of speech, Aphra and her crew didn't understand what he meant and passed it off; however, the droid proved to be correct as Aphra later discovered that Lieutenant-Inspector Magna Tolvan had previously killed Ombra and had infiltrated the group wearing the Defel's hide and clothing.
