Sledfrid

Sledfrids were a sentient species that resembled jellyfish. Members of the species were notable for their lighter-than-air, gelatinous physiology, which allowed them to float, as well as their electric fronds that could be targeted at threats and were quite sticky. Sledfrids were incapable of speaking Basic without a vocabulator.
During the High Republic Era, the Sledfrid Môr served as the bodyguard of Gloovan crime boss Straan Valgar, who ran a small mob on the Port Hunavon space station.
