Bronze Cluster

The Bronze Cluster was the first embellishment of the Kalidor Crescent, the highest honor of the Rebel Alliance awarded only by the Alliance Chancellor or by the Supreme Commander of the Alliance Armed Forces for extreme acts of heroism and gallantry against an overwhelming force. Eligibility required a live military individual performing a second act of such conduct and was nominated by a superior officer or government representative.

The embellishment was a small cluster of bronze stars attached to the ribbon between the medallion and the likened appearance of a kalidor in flight, an avian predator species from the Core Worlds planet Davnar II. Subsequent embellishments were the Silver Talons, Silver Scimitar, Golden Wings, and Diamond Eyes.
