Long-range triad transmitter

A long-range triad transmitter was a type of communications triad used in the region beyond the Unknown Regions known as Lesser Space and within the Chiss Ascendancy nation's territory. A Lesser Space world had one. Around 18 BBY. a long-range triad transmitter found on the Chiss planet of Schesa relayed a message from Ascendancy Supreme Admiral Ja'fosk from the Chiss capital planet of Csilla to the Chiss Nightdragon man-of-war Vigilant warship.

Around the same Standard year, another triad transmitter located on the Ascendancy's planet Colonial Station Chaf allowed the ruler of the Kilji Illumine government, Generalirius Nakirre, to communicate with the generals commanding his Illumine Kilhorde battle fleet and to receive reports of his field commanders' progress in their conquests; however, one day, the reports ceased, which led to Nakirre to fear that his generals had extended their conquests to Colonial Station Chaf, which would have disrupted its triad's operation. In truth, the Kilhorde had been destroyed by the Paataatus Hiveborn.
