Danni Quee

Danni Quee was a female Human New Republic scientist active during the Yuuzhan Vong War. She was present at the very first Yuuzhan Vong incursions into the galaxy, experiencing the horrors of war and the ferocity of the invaders at Helska IV, a planet she was taken to after being captured. Though the Yuuzhan Vong intended to sacrifice her to their gods, Quee was rescued by Jacen Solo, though another prisoner, the Jedi Miko Reglia, perished in a futile escape attempt.

Quee, though originally an astrophysicist, soon became an expert on the Yuuzhan Vong's biots and biotechnology, searching for ways to counter their weaponry. She was constantly near the front lines on the war, seeking to decipher the alien organisms while honing her latent Force abilities. Her efforts led to the development of yammosk war coordinator detection and jamming equipment, a valuable contribution to the war effort. The weaponry first saw use in the Battle of Coruscant and later in numerous battles throughout the Yuuzhan Vong War. Quee was present at the Battle of Borleias and journeyed to occupied Coruscant to investigate the effects of its Vongforming.

Later, Quee accompanied Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and Jacen Solo to the living planet Zonama Sekot, and she was fascinated by that world. When Zonama Sekot returned to known space to help in the final battle of the Yuuzhan Vong War, Quee accompanied it. At the war's end, Quee remained on Zonama Sekot, resigning from the New Jedi Order during the Dark Nest Crisis, as she felt her place was on the living planet.
