Hunt for Maul

Between 17 BBY and 13 BBY, Janix Civil Defense began a hunt for the former Sith Lord Maul, who was attempting to rebuild his crime Empire known as the Shadow Collective. After the Imperial Security Bureau was informed of Maul's presence in Janix city, the Galactic Empire locked down the city and dispatched the Inquisitor First Brother to hunt him down. The First Brother failed his initial confrontation, also discovering that two Jedi, Eeko-Dio Daki and Devon Izara, were present on Janix. The First Brother requested backup, and eventually the Eleventh Brother joined the hunt. Maul's crew teamed up with Brander Lawson and the Jedi to flee the city, though were confronted by Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader. Maul and his allies escaped the planet with Crimson Dawn.

Years later, Maul was still a target of the Inquisitorius. The Eighth Brother was dispatched to Malachor by Vader to hunt down Maul. However, Eighth Brother's mission was interrupted after he encountered the Jedi Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger, as well as Ahsoka Tano. They were also being hunted by the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister, and a larger battle broke out involving Maul and the Jedi. Maul killed the other two Inquisitors, and the Eighth Brother attempted to escape, but his lightsaber was damaged by Jarrus and he fell to his death.
