Canon Linked from 212 articles

The cold weather assault troopers, or snowtroopers and referred to as "snowies" by the troopers themselves, were a specialized stormtrooper variant used by the Galactic Empire equipped to operate in frigid environments. Snowtroopers who refused to surrender to the New Republic and continued their service after the Galactic Civil War were further identified as Remnant Snowtroopers, owing to their allegiance to the Imperial Remnant.
