Graf mining facility

The Graf mining facility was a facility operated by Graf-Siline Industries Consortium on the planet Siline during the High Republic Era. This facility housed the consortium and served as the base of operations for the Graf family's iflisalt mining initiatives, which brought wealth to the family and supported the Silinese economy. The iflisalt mining was influential in motivating the Galactic Republic to begin talks with the Silinese about joining the Republic.

The Graf mining compound was located at the southeastern edge of Siline's badlands, but the many mines extending from the facility spanned hectares into the badlands and throughout the western ranges of mountains near Siline's ocean. The Graf family developed two proprietary technologies for detecting and extracting iflisalt, which they used extensively from their facility. By 134 BBY, the young Lionine Graf had set up a lab in the facility, which they preferred over the shared lab in the Graf manor in Liicate City. As Lionine's parents, Xan and Aneta often avoided the mining facility, despite being co-directors of the Consortium, Lio had a degree of privacy when there.
