Lionine Graf

Lionine Graf, or simply Lio, was a non-binary human who was a member of the Graf family during the High Republic Era. Born on the planet Siline, Graf considered the planet their home and tried to integrate into the primarily Silinese society. This often brought them into conflict with their parents, who saw themselves as stranded and exiled on the planet and wanted only to leave it. Graf worked in their family's iflisalt mining consortium.

Graf had made a name for themselves by being the first non-Silinese to successfully climb the gods-chimney in the Painted Desert of Indicate. To ensure their financial independence and ability to stay on Siline when their parents eventually returned to Coruscant, Graf planned to win the Silinese Crowning Convocation, and as such pave the way to become a member of the Silinese War Council. To ensure their success, they secretly planned a sabotage of the event by leading mercenary hunters into the the final round as a distraction and political message. The next Convocation took place in 134 BBY, and Graf attended it where they worked together with their Silinese friends Rhos Arthyst and their sister Sitia, as well as the Jedi Padawans Jecki Lon and Yord Fandar, who were on Siline with their Masters for a diplomatic mission and had entered the competition as a token of respect. The team succeeded through the first two rounds, but during the final stage of the Convocation, Graf's sabotage plans spiraled out of control, leading to them and Lon being captured by the mercenaries and Graf's plans being revealed. After Lon was rescued, Graf requested a traditional trial by combat, which would pit them against Convocation winner Sitia Arthyst and which they would most like loose. Before Graf could face their trial, however, they were freed by Rhos Arthyst, who fled with them.
