Orisent

Orisent was a human mercenary leader who, in 134 BBY, was hired by Lionine Graf, a young human from the planet Siline, to disrupt the Crowning Convocation that year. The young Graf's plan was for Orisent and her mercenaries to serve as poachers during the Convocation's great hunt portion. Orisent and her goons would disrupt the cam droids and release lyleks into the arena, causing chaos among the competitors. With the distraction, Orisent and her crew would poach ericadi, disrupting a sacred tradition of the Silinese people. Graf's end goal was that the desecration would soften the people's dedication to tradition, which often led to discrimination against non-Silinese, including Graf themself.

During the great hunt, however, Jedi Padawans Yord Fandar and Jecki Lon, who were competing in the competition, managed to alert the Convocation officials and engaged the mercenaries in combat, along with several of their allies. As the potential for profits from poaching quickly evaporated, Orisent betrayed Graf, kidnapping them and Jecki Lon in search of ransom money. She took her captives to the sacred Heart of Siline.

Graf's acquaintanceship with Orisent led to their mutual end, however, as Graf accidentally spoke the mercenary's name when lamenting to Lon after they were kidnapped. This allowed Lon to piece together Graf's scheme. Jecki Lon eventually escaped the Heart of Siline and regrouped with her Jedi colleagues. In the aftermath, all of Orisent's crew were either killed in action or were subject to criminal trial under the Silinese War Council's laws. Indeed, the mercenaries' fates were tied to the result of Lionine Graf's trial by combat, per Silinese custom.
