Skirmish in neutral territory
Canon Linked from 5 articles
Following a raid on Nico Deemis' bank tower, Nico Deemis organized a meeting with Looti Vario—whom he suspected to be behind the raid— to question the crime lord himself. However, due to the manipulations of the former Sith Lord Maul— the actual mastermind behind the raid— the meeting devolved into a skirmish in which Deemis ultimately died.
Still wanting revenge against Vario for betraying the Shadow Collective—which he was trying to rebuild—, hoever, Maul had his crew chase Vario as the Aleena attempted to escape. While the crew came close to killing Vario, the crime boss was ultimately saved by Janix Civil Defense forces, though at the cost of his imprisonment. However, this did not deter Maul from getting his revenge, and the former sith lord soon launched a Raid on the Janix Civil Defense HQ.
