The Last War Against the Galactic Empire: On Deployment with the New Republic Fleet

The Last War Against the Galactic Empire: On Deployment with the New Republic Fleet was a work created by the University of Coruscant historian Chalm Plesk while he was embedded with the New Republic Defense Fleet against the Imperial Remnant during the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn to the galaxy around 9 ABY. Its release was highly anticipated, but Plesk was blocked from publication by several military figures and a file titled Notice Prohibiting Publication #1310 was stored in the "Military Intelligence" section of the New Republic Archives relating to the work.

Plesk eventually traveled to the New Republic capital, Hosnian Prime, to plead his case for publication before the Senate, but perished there during the Hosnian Cataclysm with the work unpublished in 34 ABY. The historian Beaumont Kin mentioned the unpublished text in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire in 35 ABY, stating that he hoped copies of it had survived to one day be published.
