Karabbac

Karabbac was a predatory creature native to the Wild Space planet Kalee, as are members of the Kaleesh species. Kaleesh warriors hunt Karabbac for more than simply meat and generally kill to demonstrate their bravery, making its pelt for clothing and its skulls and bones for fearsome masks, and even using its blood as war paint, drawing lines over their eyes on their masks before battle. They also valued their prey and wouldn't allow anyone near them.

Based on one he had once worn as a Kaleesh warrior, General Grievous's cybernetic faceplate had engraved lines over his eyes that resembled the patterns of Karabbac-blood war paint and featured duranium teeth that mimicked the beast's. The personal defense instructor Tommet Sozach wore a jacket made from the pelt of a cloned karabbac.
